Kyle's Confirmation

Kyle was confirmed the beginning of May, was hard to believe he was old enough (I am certainly not old enough to have a confirmed son). It was a very nice ceremony and Kyle was very blessed to have so many people who loved him there. He had visitors from all over the state of Texas and other states. Not only did his godfather come in town from Dallas and his aunt come in from Austin, but Uncle Jim came in town from Missouri. Thank you all so much for making the trip in, it was so appreciated. I also need to give a yell out to my wonderful personal photographer, thank you so much for taking pictures-that was one less thing for me to stress about. I also want to mention a little brag about my son. Part of their confirmation was they needed to do some sort of project. They needed to do a service project or make something, some kids even played instruments. Kyle and I talked about building something out of wood, that led to lots of talks back and forth and then we came up with a great idea. Kyle wanted to build something for the Mother's Day Out program at church and donate it in Aunt Kathy's name. We talked to Mrs. Botker and she said they could use a bookshelf, so that is what Kyle made. It turned out really nice and he did most of it (of course dad helped and guided), I was really proud of him. I forgot to download pictures of it, so I will post those later, but you are always welcome to look at it in one of the MDO classrooms at Kinsmen.

Thank you again to Jenny for taking pictures, they were great. Thank you to everyone who came and made the day special for Kyle, sorry we didn't get eveyone's picture (Uncle John, Uncle Jim and Mac got left out of the pictures; along with Kami C--I have some on my camera, she was getting restless, and unfortunately I missed getting any of Jenny and Keelan). I also want to give one more big thank you to Uncle Jim, he gets the award for traveling the farthest, was so appreciated and so not expected--thank you.

Kamryn turns 3

Wow, can you believe it our little baby girl is 3. She is actually 3 going on about 13, boy are we in for trouble.
We had a Tinkerbell birthday for her, she loves Tinkerbell now. Of course she was themed all the way down to her shirt (would it be any other way from me). The day was very nice, it wasn't too hot or anything so the kids got to enjoy bouncing on the trampoline.
Kamryn got lots of nice things, can not thank every one enough for how generous they were. She got her kitchen and it was a bigger hit than I thought. Angela stayed awhile after everyone else and they could not wait for it to be set up. Now Kamryn makes coffee every morning for daddy, it is really cute (also helps get her out of bed). She is growing up so fast, has such a personality of her own (even though you ask family members and friends around here she is mini me--personally don't see anything wrong with that).

Yeah, I got a kitchen!!!!!!!! Angela and Kamryn checking out the new kitchen Angela and Kamryn playing her new elephant game.
This was so cute (thank you Aunt Tricia) and it kept the girls entertained for quite awhile. It looks like and elephant and has a long blue snout that has air that goes through. You fill the elephant up with these little "butterflies" and then they shoot up through the snout and you have to catch them with the nets. They don't quite concept the idea of the game part, but they just LOVED trying to catch these little pieces of paper shooting up out of the nose.
All in all was a very nice day, can not believe she is 3. If you talk to her for very long you won't believe it either, her imagination is getting so interesting and she is so animated it just cracks us all up.
What is even more surprising, Kyle got confirmed. Yes it is true, that is part of the delay in posts--I have been taking care of 2 parties 2 weeks in a row. So, we should be good for awhile, then we have a busy few weeks after that--so I will post confirmation later.
