Storm Edouard

Tropical Depression? Tropical Storm? Hurricane? Not sure what the storm is, just know it is causing me to miss work. We seem to have a bit of a storm coming through, but don't they know it is month end (only my workaholic father would understand this). So I get up this morning, get dressed and get Kamryn ready for school. We load up in the car, yes it was raining-but nothing major. Off to school we go, only to find out when we pull into the parking lot that the school was closed due to weather (just so you know, I was not the only one in the parking lot-so there are other workaholic parents out there). Normally I wouldn't be too upset about this, a day home with the kids; however, this is the first week of the month (busiest for me) and all I can think about is what a day I am going to have tomorrow. Oh well, the kids and I are going to enjoy our day right now. It has basically rained ALL DAY so far, but again--nothing major. I just hope we don't lose power--that would cause for a hot miserable day off. If anything major happens, like downed trees or flooded streets, I will be sure to share pictures.
