The Woods Bunch: SORRY

Okay, sorry it has been a month since I have updated the blog. I could really come up with so many "excuses", but the bottom line is--life. There has been a lot going on here at work and outside, so most days I have been going home and just vegging. But I am back, let's see--what has been going on. We had another cook-off--not so good, we don't talk about it. Then we went to the lake house for a weekend. We ended up not getting the jet skis, but it was still nice. It is just really nice to get away for a couple of days sometimes. We did go swimming in the lake and Kamryn really loved it, she is a lot like her brother--they both like the water. My cousin came into town with her new 5 month old boy. He was so cute and it was so sweet seeing Kamryn and Angela with him. Kamryn was so excited about seeing "baby Logan" she waited by the door for about 20 minutes. We get to my aunt's and she turns into super shy and won't go near the baby. That is until she thought mom was spending too much time with him. She warmed up to him before we left. I guess to wrap up the last month, last weekend we spent the day with some of my co-workers at another lake. This time there was jet skis and Kamryn got to go for a ride. She really loved them--that is as long as you keep it under 20 miles an hour. We spent most of the day out there, it was a lot of fun. I have some pictures of the last month to post. Not a whole lot going on right now. Kyle starts 8th grade on Monday, he will be big guy on campus for the year--next year he will be back at the bottom as a freshman. We have cook-off Labor Day weekend, this is a big one too--normally about 100 teams, so we will see how it goes. I will really try not to take so long in between posts.
