Just call me Grace

This story is much better in person, so just imagine me telling the story with my hands and being animated.
Normally Zayne gets Kamryn ready for school and takes her and makes sure that Kyle is up; but, on the days he works he leaves at 5:30 for work so I call them single mom days. It is hard enough to get me up and out here on time, without adding in the VERY cooperative toddler. So, I normally run around like a chicken with my head cut off and this morning was no different.
I run out to the car to load it up and get it started, when all of a sudden--whack, I slam the door right into my face. It was probably quite a sight, he caught me off guard and I fell back. I felt a little dizzy and light headed and felt myself falling to the ground as my heels are digging into the lawn. All I could think was I can't fall because I would have to change my clothes. I grab my head and then pull my hand away and there is blood all over it. I proceed to run back into the house, keeping all doors open, and calling for Kyle. Really, Kyle--what exactly did I think he was going to do. Exactly what I predicted once I told him what happened--laugh. I just wasn't sure where Kamryn was--following me because she was worried.
I get a towel and pat it to get the blood cleaned up, put some ice in it and proceed to take Kamryn to school. I am now driving around holding ice to my head. Get her dropped off and call Zayne to see if I need to be concerned, his response is to laugh too. He tells me if it is no longer bleeding I shouldn't need stitches, I decided I would have the guys at work look at it to see if it is too deep.
Now I get to work and they are now laughing at me--why does this seem to be the theme of the day. One of my co-workers tells me the only benefit to going to the ER and getting stitches is to prevent a scar. Now this is a cut from my eyebrow straight up, probably about an inch; however, my cheapness and fear of needles leads me to think the ER is not necessary. So, me and my co-workers (bunch of accountants) go to work being "doctors". One had some good ibuprofen he gave me and the other made up butterfly band-aids to help with healing.
It was quite and interesting day, by the end of the day we have a bunch of "stories" going around. The latest is my co-worker Kyra beat me up.
Here is the cut, this actually looks better than it did this morning. This was after being bandaged all day.

Here is Kyra's awesome bandaging
Thank you Joe and Kyra for the medical attention, and thank you to everyone else (Ulysses, Beckey, Brian and Rob) for your insults, I mean moral support :)!!!
